I work with an amazing team of agents to source high-quality and interesting wines made by small artisanal producers from around the world. Each wine is very carefully selected around a common theme so that the package delivers a complete experience.

Shipping is included for delivery within the GTA. The area covered is Port Perry to the East, Newmarket to the North and Brampton/Oakville to the West. Outside of these areas, there is an additional charge of $15 per total order per delivery address (not per item).
Please note that delivery is only within the province of Ontario.
A private tasting lasts an average of 1.5 hours. This does not include additional set up time of approximately 45 minutes and take-down time of approximately 30 minutes. During the 1.5 hour tasting, you and your guests will be expertly guided through an interactive tasting of each of the wines in your selected package.
The tastings are designed for a minimum group size of 6 people and a maximum group size of 12 people to ensure an optimal experience. For groups smaller than 6 or larger than 12, please contact me to discuss options.
All guests must be over the legal drinking age of 19 and ID’s may be requested for verification.
Each package provides the opportunity to sample 6 different wines. A tasting pour of each wine is approximately 2oz for a total equivalent to 2.5 standard drinks. A spit cup is provided for each guest if they choose not to consume each tasting pour. Any remaining wine from the open bottles is left with the host and served at the host’s discretion.
All you have to do is ensure you have ample space to comfortably accommodate seating for all your guests. Guests can be seated at one large table or split among multiple tables in the same room. I will provide the wines, tasting glasses, spit cups, individual cheese & charcuterie snack packages and a bottle of water for each participant.
Tastings are held at private residences. For tastings held at commercial spaces, it is the host’s responsibility to ensure the serving of alcohol is permitted and/or a Special Occasion Permit is procured in advance.
It is also your responsibility as host to ensure your guests have appropriate means of transportation after the consumption of alcohol. La Barrique Wine Consulting does not assume any responsibility or liability for any injury or fatality of guests resulting from the consumption of liquor at your hosted event.
Once you have an approximate date in mind, I recommend you submit a booking request as soon as possible to guarantee your preferred date and time. Final guest counts are due 10 business days before the event to ensure I have everything needed for an amazing event!
Once your booking is confirmed via a signed form, 50% payment (based on the estimated number of guests) is required to secure your event. The balance 50% payment is due 10 business days before your event based on the final guest count. Payments can be made via eTransfer or by credit card*.
*Please note, payments by credit card are subject to an additional 3% processing fee.
